Blog 3 : Urban Panorams

When looking at an American city, you notice a variety of things.  There are large and very tall buildings that can be seen from miles away.  Many bright and illuminating signs can be seen not only for advertising but traffic and everyday life.  The materials used in buildings, stores and businesses are very new and utilize our newest technologies.  There is a very different look than when viewing European cities.

European cities were built and founded long before the new American metropolises of today.  The buildings are much older and have a very different style of architecture.  There are few if any skyscrapers and many of the buildings are only 3 to 4 stories tall.

As you can see, very tall buildings and almost no roads or side walks can be seen.

As seen here the buildings are much smaller and not even close to as tall as NYC.  The materials used are not very modern and have an old feel and look to them.  Also there are trees and many areas of grass that is very unusual in large American metropolises.
